If you want to help shape the future of Frankston, now is the time to join our team!About the positionCouncil's Youth Services Department is looking for a Senior Youth Worker who will be responsible for the development and delivery of community-based youth engagement programs.The main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain regular face to face contact with young people and actively involve young people in the decision making, planning, and implementation of activities and projects.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the Youth Services team, and facilitate ways to work collaboratively with other youth related services
- Establish rapport with the community and young people through individual and group interactions and activities.
This is a temporary full-time position ending on 22/03/2025.
About you- Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or related discipline
- Commitment to honouring the voices of young people in the local community
- Minimum one year's experience working with young people in a community setting

This position is a Band 5 currently remunerated at $78,589 per annum, plus superannuation.
