We are seeking a Claims Specialist to join one of Australia's most trusted and well-known brands in a supportive and forward-thinking claims team. Manage a refreshingly small portfolio of workers’ compensation claims with a focus on proactive case management and a high level of care.
Enjoy the flexibility of working fully remotely from home on a fixed-term contract basis providing fantastic flexibility, and be a key member of the team located in Perth and on the Eastern Seaboard.
The role:
- Managing a mixed portfolio of workers’ compensation claims within legislative and business requirements to reduce outstanding liabilities and achieve cost-effective RTW (return to work) outcomes
- Engaging with key stakeholders to bring about understanding, involvement and continuous improvement in claims management
- Conducting timely and appropriate case reviews with stakeholders to ensure individual case strategies are developed, communicated and achieved
- You will have existing experience in managing workers’ compensation claims
- A commercially minded yet empathetic, professional with a sound understanding of strategic case management
- Confidence and influencing skills, comfortable making decisions and problem-solving
- Collaborative stakeholder management skills enjoying regular interactions both internally and externally
- A truly passionate, empathetic, and successful team
