Senior Claims Specialist - Tail Or Front End Team

HAYLO People is a specialist recruitment agency within the personal injury & insurance industry. We are seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join a key claims agent within the VIC market.

Our client has created a new brand new role within both Front End and tail segments for an experienced Senior Case Manager to manage a small portfolio as well as play a pivotal role in the team as a 2ic to the leader supporting with the claims teams professional growth through mentoring and coaching. 

Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely from home up to 3 days a week on a permanent full time contract with the office based in Melbourne CBD with option to work a 9 day fortnight.

The Role:

• Support the leader as a key mentor and coach for the team across with the Front End or tail segments. 
• You will also work in a senior capacity supporting case managers through mentorship and development activities to provide a level of strategic and operational support as required.
• Provide guidance and support to claims teams with interpretation of complex claims scenarios and strategies to deliver appropriate, multi-layered, and timely interventions.
• Deliver face to face claims management support to injured workers, employers and relevant stakeholders as required to deliver successful return to work outcomes.
• Manage a small portfolio of either Front End or tail workers compensation claims.

About you:

• You will have existing experience in managing workers’ compensation claims at a strategic level.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring others.
• A commercially minded yet empathetic, professional with a sound understanding of strategic case management.
• Confidence and influencing skills, comfortable making decisions and problem-solving.
• Collaborative stakeholder management skills enjoying regular interactions both internally and externally.
