Senior Client Service Officer (Specialist)
Housing Services
Location: Positions available in multiple locations, including Lismore, Grafton, Tweed Heads South
Employment type: Temporary, Full Time up for up to 12 months with a possibility of extension
Salary: $93,295 -- $102,941 pa plus superannuation and leave loading.

Your role
A Senior Client Service Officer (SCSO) provides a broad range of services including tenancy, property management and application services. You will work closely with clients experiencing complex support needs.
You will work with external agencies and advocates and other stakeholders to maximise positive outcomes for clients, and you will provide coaching and support to team members to optimize business and service outcomes.
You will also work closely with clients experiencing homelessness and working with other internal staff and external agencies to assist clients experiencing complex homelessness. This role may also include conducting outreach to clients sleeping rough and those who have been impacted by natural disasters.
What you'll do
You will
Work directly with clients and their advocates to provide advice and assistance on housing options based on assessment of eligibility and client need and in keeping with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with internal specialists and external service providers and make referrals where additional support requirements are identified to better meet client needs.
Work in partnership with other stakeholders to resolve complex tenancy issues and neighbourhood disputes, including responding to and managing antisocial behaviours.
Manage breach of tenancy agreements and represent Housing NSW at the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal
Coach Client Service team members to improve skills in assessing and managing clients, including those with complex needs; and in managing client information systems to achieve greater efficiency in delivery processes.
