The Nutrition Department provides comprehensive high quality and effective nutritional care, including nutrition assessment and education to both inpatients and outpatients to optimise outcomes.
The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Nutrition team as a Senior Clinical Dietitian, AHP3 in a permanent, full time capacity.
As Senior Dietitian, you will be responsible for;
- Providing leadership within their specialist clinical area, including providing a consultancy service within their clinical area to members of clinical team and broader hospital staff, and externally to other service providers in SA and interstate where appropriate.
- Providing advice to Nutrition Department Manager and allocated clinical team on service delivery in response to demand and latest evidence.
- Initiating, planning and participating in local and national external activities within specialist clinical area - e.g. conferences including presenting research, being involved in research, guideline and protocol development, patient information material development.
- Providing clinical supervision to team members as allocated by the Manager in line with the SA Health Allied Health Clinical Supervision Framework
- Contribute to the training of Dietitians in the SA Nutrition & Dietetics university training programs.
