- Delivers high-quality clinical services to consumers, including undertaking pre-referral consultations, participation in primary assessments and secondary consultations and completion of formal risk assessments and reports
- Deliver high-quality support to DJCS and AMHWS in responding to individuals with Serious Mental Illness and complex needs who present a high risk of further serious violent offending and/or sexual offending in the community.
- Contributes to and provides advice around assessment, planning, implementation of service provision and evaluation of care coordination plans to support DJCS and AMHWS
- Contributes to the formulation and documentation of risk assessment and management plans, including strategies for DJCS and AMHWS, and advising services of the same
- Contributes to the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of specialist education & consultancy services to stakeholders, in particular, DJCS & AMHWS
- Liaise with and provide high-level consultation and advice to justice agencies, other healthcare professionals and non-government organisations
- Participates in Coordinated Service Plan & Quarterly Service Review meetings with relevant agencies
- Reporting as required to the DFFH Serious Offenders Consultation Team (SOCT) and the Multi-Agency Panel
- Develop and maintain sound working relationships with forensic clinical specialists statewide. Participate in and contribute to developing ongoing reviews of comprehensive quality improvement initiatives within the community directorate.
- Maintain and uphold a professional code of conduct and code of ethics
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities according to the requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
- The successful candidate will be required to register their qualifications and Ecredentials.
- Approved degree in occupational therapy recognised for membership in Occupational Therapy Australia – Australian Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
- The successful candidate will be required to register their qualifications on eCredential.
- Master or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited course or equivalent, or a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology from an APS accredited course or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
- The successful candidate will be required to register their qualifications on eCredential.
