Learn more .Current opportunityThe Program Management Office (PMO) is a small team that work on both ICT and business projects to ensure that the organisation is positioned to meet the requirements of our internal and external clients.This role will act as a business partner for Service lines to understand their needs and assist with identification of business improvement opportunities. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements and develop proposals to support business improvement opportunities.What you’ll be doing
- Manage the risk, quality and progress of assigned projects to organisational standards, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, to agreed quality standards, and within agreed scope.
- Lead small project teams, including working with consultants and vendors to ensure project outcomes are delivered.
- Develop, negotiate, and monitor contracts or other project agreements, to support the delivery of project outcomes and outputs.
- Develop strategies to manage costs, schedule adherence, scope and work quality.
- Provide regular project progress updates, and design and implement key performance metrics
- Ensure projects are scoped accurately, manage all deliverables and benefits realised
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMI, PMP, Prince 2, Agile)
- Demonstrated experience working in complex and/or large corporate environments
- Familiarity with evaluating, selecting, designing and implementing business systems
- A solid understanding of risk management
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Proven experience building strong relationships and working closely with and supporting key project stakeholders
