As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer, you’ll design and maintain data analytic road maps and data structures that support business and technology objectives. Also be a specialist data developer in on-premises and open-source environments while having exposure to traditional data integration, modelling, ETL, data warehousing architectures.
In this role, you’ll be managing the public cloud environment to ensure it is successfully running and contribute to the development of best practices for this cloud environment.
What you’ll do…
Contribute to the on boarding of the Azure, implementing best practices through design.
Develop and improve team capabilities in skills and processes.
Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Manage public cloud environment, including administration and support.
Implement and enhance automation processes.
What we’re looking for…
Experience with delivering end to end data integration solutions in a cloud environment with preference to Azure.
Experience with open source and applications orientated languages within a data focused environment – with preference to Python, Java, Scala, R and Spark.
Big Data experience as engineer or admin in a modern bid data stack (KAFKA, Apache Beam/Flink/Spark, Hadoop 3.0).
Advanced knowledge of a modern data application, Data Modelling and ETL.
