At SA Water, we are looking for an experienced leader to ensure maximum value from our multi-billion dollar contract arrangements supporting the capital delivery program. As the Head of our Commercial Management team in Capital Delivery, you will spearhead the development and implementation of commercial and contract management strategies, ensuring optimal business outcomes. This role is pivotal in maintaining effective performance analysis and reporting, driving the success of our capital projects. In addition, you will lead complex contract negotiations and disputes, mentoring your team to enhance their commercial management capabilities. Your ability to maintain effective working relationships with the broader business and industry stakeholders will be essential. In addition, your responsibilities will include:

• Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
• Lead the Commercial Management team in Capital Delivery
• Lead the development and implementation of commercial and contract management strategies to ensure optimal business outcomes for SA Water.
• Apply appropriate commercial assurance practices across the Capital Delivery Program.
• Maintain effective performance analysis and reporting
• Lead complex contract negotiations / disputes and mentor group to build commercial management capability
• Maintaining effective working relationship with broader business and industry

Your success in this role will come from:

• Formal qualifications in Commercial or other relevant Qualifications i.e. MCIPS or equivalent experience
• Experience in leading commercial teams
• Significant Experience in commercial and contract management in the deliver of major infrastructure
• Experience in taking the lead role in complex, high value commercial negotiations and disputes.
• Experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of commercial assurance frameworks.
