Due to strong growth, Mott MacDonald's leading Advisory team is looking for a Senior Commercial/Commercial Manager. You will be joining a diverse team of consultants who are passionate about what they do, with a proven track record guiding our clients, and leading delivery of our State and Country's most critical projects.
We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Leader to support the commercial delivery of our major EDA project work, and prospects for government and institutional clients, with a focus on design and construct form of delivery.
This role will see you:
* Commercial Management of key projects to make sure they are delivered on time and budget (EDS Work Packages).
* Commercial management/Contract Admin of EDA subcontractors.
* Assist the Commercial Director in executing commercial and financial tasks with a level of competency that supports autonomy, requiring guidance when required, to deliver projects and prepare bids.
* Assisting Work Package Leads with the delivery of Work Packages.
* Working closely with the Advisory NSW Commercial Lead on the commercial management of major projects.
* Assist NSW Commercial Lead with commercial management strategy.
* Setting an example to others in the business on the benefits of robust Commercial Management showing value and influence to obtain successful and profitable outcomes on major projects.
* Be prepared to be adaptable and take on related Commercial Management tasks as part of working as a team to make sure full commercial compliance and appropriate approvals are obtained.
You will be a results focused Commercial Leader with 10 years' experience with extensive knowledge and experience in the establishment, delivery and management of commercial issues and project agreements with a variety of stakeholders and external facing clients (Government and industry)
Ability to lead stakeholder negotiations in relation to commercial issues, prepare detailed analysis' and advise on complex commercial matters
With tertiary qualifications relevant to commercial management/law, you will have proven skills in the business of risk management, governance and compliance development and demonstrated competencies.
You will bring and establish positive relationships with our clients in NSW. Your experience in contributing to high performing teams coupled with advanced communication skills and experience in external and internal stakeholder management, will help you influence the outcome of key decisions.
