Senior Digital Communications Officer
Senior Communications officer- 6-month contract, wfh available
We are seeking is a Senior Comms Planner and Specialist - someone who knows, and can generate basic comms plans swiftly and with high level writing skills and attention to detail, as well as implement on an operational level (create the content and not just direct or instruct it).
We are seeking candidates with skills in:
Excellent interpersonal skills and Internal client/stakeholder relations - building key relationships to service the organisations many branches
Generating thorough Comms Plans and Creative Briefs for reports, projects, events and other agendas
Generating detailed and thought driven creative briefs for external service providers in photography, videography, graphic design etc, and working with agencies and internal clients to communicate and deliver products
Content creation including:
-basic storyboards and scripts
-short video pieces inhouse (Canva)
-social media posts within brand and approved guidelines
Advanced writing skills across various genres including:
-Generate/edit stories for our intranet
-Proofread web and intranet pages
Reporting - regularly report on and evaluate social media results using LinkedIn, Facebook and X Twitter analytics
intermediate-advanced use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams (meeting set-ups, chats etc), MS Office generally
Advantageous but not essential - skills in web content management systems (Sharepoint and other similar) and analytics
Key challenges
Developing and maintaining effective, collaborative internal and external relationships and networks for the successful delivery of timely, accurate and engaging content and media engagement across multiple channels and platforms.
Operating in a complex and dynamic environment, requiring close attention to deliverables, and the capacity to manage workload with competing priorities and diverse stakeholder needs, while delivering to the required quality standards and targets.
