About the Department Federal agency tasked with improving health outcomes for Australians through the delivery of digital health care systems and the national digital health strategy for Australia. About the Role The Senior Communications Officer is responsible for developing clear, engaging, visually attractive and effective internal and external communications, in collaboration with stakeholders across diverse business areas, and coordinating distribution through various Agency channels. The Senior Communications Officer will support the development and execution of end-to-end marketing and communication and change programs to support the priorities of the Australian Digital Health Agency. The delivery of the program will support and position the Agency road-map and future vision for digital health in Australia. Key success factors are communication and marketing skills particularly in a Government Agency, attention to detail and the ability to provide expert advice and support to multiple stakeholders, including across varying government departments as required. The role requires the ability to effectively prioritise and execute deliverables in a high-pressure environment, under limited direction. This role will follow an account management approach and work closely with the wider Communications and Marketing team, who are geographically dispersed. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience developing and implementing communications strategies, tools and materials for a variety of audiences. (highly desirable) Tertiary qualifications or experience in communications or a related field, such as stakeholder engagement, public relations. (highly desirable) Experience in developing creative visual content to explain concepts and messages in an accessible manner.
