Organisational Environment
The position sits within the process function and reports directly to the Head of Process. This position will also participate in projects in the service design function as well.
Position Summary
We work with clients who are wanting to transform, to support this mission you will help to understand and analyse the services and processes of our clients. Connecting what they do to the customer experience and highlighting opportunities for simplification and improvement. Having a strong communication and process mapping skills you will be able to support our customers to highlight complexity and solve their problems.
You will have an understanding of lean, process improvement and service design and know how to apply these skills to your projects. The ability to be agile, flexible, self-driven and work well in a team is essential.
Our expectations for a Senior Consultant are that you are able to work on your own with the client and teams in your key areas of expertise, coach team members, build and improve relationships with clients and professional network. You are able to support a culture of learning and mentorship and lead conversations based on organisational strategy and principles to enable collaboration and decision making. You will work with clients to drive initiatives that support larger projects and operational excellence. You will work as part of a team to deliver end-to-end service design, develop processes and mechanisms, upskill teams, and simplify work to enhance customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities as a Three6 Senior Consultant
- Actively participates and collaborates with the client and Three6 team.
- Influence clients and stakeholders to Incorporate a human-centred service design approach
- Work to build strong relationships with your colleagues and clients. Collaborate and communicate effectively and in an audience-oriented way
- Contribute to conversations based on domain knowledge with the team. Have knowledge in two or more of the following: design, process, technology, leadership, change, people
- Identify client and project problems, analyse them and plan the best approach to solve them
- Proactively pursue learning opportunities in your everyday job to improve your knowledge about Human Centred Design, Design Thinking, Process Improvement, Lean and service design
- Facilitate workshops with clients
- Has the ability to work and manage initiatives successfully across clients
- Work to create an environment where we can all live and demonstrate our key values of excellence, challenge, happiness, nurture, and authenticity.
- Produces training in their area of expertise for others in Three6 to learn more. Brings ideas for new products and approaches

A DAY IN THE LIFE – every day will be different, but here are a few things you will do:
- Engage with key stakeholders and establish objectives and goals for the client's work
- Set up meetings/ workshops to understand and map out existing processes
- Facilitate workshops both in person and online
- Create presentations and able to present the value of work back to clients
- Conduct interviews to further understand the process and how it differs from what is actually being done
- Look for improvements and opportunities to standardise the process
- Understand the complexity of the processes and think innovatively about ways to remove the waste
- Implement process improvements to deliver value quickly
- Understand risk and must critically question current ways of working
- Develop relationships that maintain and enhance client engagement with Three6
