The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Leading complex contract negotiations for new and existing contracts with both internal DCP business units and external service providers (suppliers).
- Providing expert advice to senior management on complex contracting and performance management issues.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of strategic child protection business programs, priorities and reforms to enable the provision of accurate and appropriate contract execution and management.
- Managing complex and sensitive issues affecting multiple stakeholders using high level engagement and communication strategies.
About You
We are looking for an innovative contract expert with experience providing leadership to achieve quality results within a complex and changing environment.
The successful applicant will have previous experience delivering effective contract management, including monitoring and performance management of outsourced services.
High level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders is a key requirement of the role.
Detailed knowledge of SA Government procurement and contract management requirements is ideal.
