We are seeking a Senior Procurement and Contracts Manager to spearhead our delivery of major capital works programs and complex contracts. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape ElectraNet's future by implementing innovative procurement strategies, leading high-value negotiations, and fostering strong supplier relationships working with a complex capital works portfolio.
The Senior Procurement and Contracts Manager will:
- Drive strategic sourcing and complex contract management for ElectraNet's Project Delivery team.
- Guide stakeholders with commercial, technical, and operational wisdom, delivering best-for-business outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Influence corporate policies and practices, driving efficiency and optimal governance.
- Mentor and coach co-workers, cultivating a culture of compliance and excellence.
You are a seasoned procurement leader who brings:
- 10+ years' experience in procurement and contracts management positions, with a particular focus on experience on design and construction projects.
- A proven track record in a complex procurement and contracting environment, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or construction.
- An understanding of project management methodologies and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellence in written and oral communication, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- A detailed understanding of contract law and relevant industry regulations.
- A degree in Commerce/Business, Law, Engineering, Construction/QS, or a related field.
