About the opportunity
Based in Hobart in Southern Tasmania, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts administrator to join an established team, delivering professional end to end contract management for specific commercial projects.
The role will require you to work with the team to manage all contractural matters, maintain project records, carry out all administration duties and ensure the scope of works, budgets, timeframes and variations are monitored, met and communicated to all key stakeholders.
About you
This role will be ideal for a motivated and experienced Senior Contracts administrator with a “can do” attitude and who has demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional service. You will be driven to build effective relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders and have experience in the managment of multi-million dollar commercial projects.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following:

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience working with complex projects in the commercial construction industry
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and effectively manage time to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills along with sound research, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated experience with trade procurement, project reporting, subcontract administration and stong knowledge of construction contracts
