About the Role
As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and commercial support to the Contracts and Procurement team, for Services, Major Equipment and Infrastructure functions.
You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Monitoring existing contracts' expiry and renewal dates, negotiating commercial terms and executing the rollover of expiring contracts.
- Identifying and implementing business improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Managing tender processes, from beginning to end.
- Maintaining contract templates and amendments, including integration into contracts management systems.
About You
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar position.
- Experience working in Mining/Heavy industry settings.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel & MS Office.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Experience in the formulation and negotiation of procurement contracts & tenders and of knowledge about relevant legislation, codes and legal practices relating to procurement & contracts.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues or areas of improvement and take prompt action to resolve them.
