Your responsibilities will include developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating project risks, as well as managing stakeholder communications and expectations. Your role will require strong leadership skills to motivate and guide your team towards project success, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities to address any challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
To excel in this role, you should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer/ Project Manager, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and experience with industrial communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of Control Systems, electrical schematics, and P&ID drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Right to work in Australia.
- COVID-19 vaccination status may be required.
- Years of project management experience and years of experience as an Electrical Project Engineer will be assessed.
Along with several years of experience in project management in the EI&C sector. You should also have a deep understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control technologies, as well as experience working with relevant software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be required to liaise with various stakeholders and team members to ensure project success.
