  • $102,972.18-$112,855.03 per year plus superannuation
  • 6 weeks annual leave

About The Role

The (Senior) Coordinator Parks & Reserves will provide leadership and direction to the team ensuring sustainable and customer focussed service delivery. This will involve development of strategies, policies and plans and setting clear work deliverables aligned to City of Darwin's strategic direction. The role will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation of operational maintenance programs for park infrastructure, bushland, irrigation and arboriculture services and minor capital works projects, ensuring legislative compliance requirements and risks are met.

Key deliverables for this role will include: -

  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, plans and procedures required to support the professional operation and service delivery standards of the Parks and Reserves section
  • In consultation with the Parks and Open Spaces Manager, review and set business unit goals and performance measures to link community needs and organisational priorities for service delivery
  • Develop clear work programs and works schedules to achieve Parks and Reserves service delivery goals, ensuring statutory, safety and amenity requirements are met
  • Manage internal audits of work programs, areas and service levels for internal and externally delivered works to ensure value for money and continuous quality improvement is maintained.

About you

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills along with sound technical knowledge to provide support and technical advice across a range of key stakeholders. This role will require you to have previous experience leading leaders, excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
