Senior Cost Analyst

T+O+M Executive are working exclusively with a fantastic FMCG Group to hire an experienced Senior Cost Analyst.

• Location: South Western Sydney - Does require full time in the office

• Salary: $140k - $150k base + super

Job Overview:
As a Senior Costing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing our cost structures to ensure profitability and efficiency. You will work closely with various departments to gather data, analyze cost trends, and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.

• Analyze cost data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant cost information and provide insights into cost drivers.
• Develop and maintain costing models to accurately estimate product/service costs and profitability.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, with a focus on cost analysis.
• Conduct regular reviews of product/service pricing to ensure alignment with cost structures and market dynamics.
• Participate in cost reduction initiatives and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.

About You:

• Qualified CIMA, CA or CPA
• Strong costing experience in a small to large FMCG environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
