About your role
We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst - Operations. The role will report to the Finance Manager - Operations and support the Supply Chain and manufacturing teams in providing product costing, analytical, reporting and control support to ensure sound financial decision-making.
What you'll do
- Costing: Support the ANZ and Global teams with respect to costing analysis. Perform product costing set-up, roll-up, analysis and maintenance.
- Establish an Operations Finance reporting framework leverage zero-base and standard costing concepts, incorporating manufacturing efficiencies, overheads and commodity inflation.
- Demonstrate knowledge across the value chain to drive P&L outcomes. Support Supply Chain leaders through insightful analysis and value add propositions.
- Support month-end close processes and monthly reporting on Supply Chain performance. Assist in preparation of monthly reporting. Provide insights and commentary.
- Perform variance analysis and present outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Partner with the Operations team to establish a robust annual budget.
- Proactively participating in improving processes, tools and systems to improve controls and process efficiency.
What will help you succeed
- Previous Operations Finance exposure and analytical experience in a consumer product, Supply Chain or manufacturing environment
- Solid experience with reporting and data analysis. Being able to draw insights and tell the story behind the numbers
- P&L and cashflow understanding
- Critical thinking and a curious mindset
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Being comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
- Passion for process improvement
Nice to have (but not essential)
- FMCG, Supply Chain. operations, manufacturing industry experience
- CPA/CA qualification
