As part of the team, you will gain valuable experience working closely with senior management across the bids, proposals, and project management teams on an integral defence project. Your new role The Senior Cost Schedule Analyst conducts schedule and planning with a particular focus on the Earned Value Management aspects for the assigned bids and projects against a baseline and ensuring that it meets contracted EVM standards. You must also have expertise in planning/scheduling to develop schedules and Critical Path to manage schedules. Key Responsibilities;
Development / implementation and maintenance of the Earned Value Management system (i.e.Cobra)
Planning and scheduling the scope of work within the scheduling / project management tool e.g. Primevera
Be involved in preparation and delivery of monthly reports.
Drive the development and maintenance of the PMB and actively participate in the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) if required
Actively support the development and maintenance of Risk & Opportunities
Work collaboratively with the planning and scheduling team
Experience working with Earned Value Management
Financial / Budgetary control of accounts & work-packages
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications in engineering or relevant
Experience in an Earned Value Management environment
Demonstrated knowledge of the project management lifecycle
Demonstrated advanced knowledge / experience in the use of EVM system tool (Cobra or other)
Primavera and Scheduling Tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan)
Scheduling - Program Evaluation & Review Technique (PERT) and Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis
