How will I help?In this role, you'll establish and maintain "best practice" risk management processes and techniques that align with our product and customer strategy. Your analytical skills will be crucial in producing superior reporting and analysis of portfolio trends, driving changes that enhance portfolio profitability and customer experience. You'll work closely with Senior Risk Managers to develop profitability-based strategies for delinquent account management across multiple brands, ensuring effective monitoring and syndication with appropriate stakeholders.Your responsibilities will centre around risk management, encompassing the development, research, analysis, and interpretation of significant portfolio performance trends. You'll maintain effective partnerships with business owners by providing timely support on
Credit Risk, delinquency performance, collection strategy, and decisioning system issues. Your insights into portfolio performance and accurate forecasting of delinquency and bad debt loss will be essential. Additionally, you'll contribute to business development initiatives, risk-related projects, and the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective credit policies. Managing external stakeholders, including Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia, ASIC, and the Privacy Commissioner, will also be part of your role.

What do I need?To excel in this role, you'll need strong SAS, SQL programming, and Excel/Tableau skills, along with an understanding of banking,
Credit Risk lifecycle, delinquency monitoring/reporting, credit scoring, behavioural scoring, scorecard development, and monitoring. Exposure to
Credit Risk decisioning systems and practical experience in consumer lending and collections will be advantageous.
