Location - The Administration Officer role is based in Liverpool and the Senior Customer Service Officer role is based in Fairfield.

Employment type - We have two Temporary opportunities available for an Administration Officer Full time and a Senior Customer Service Officer Part Time.

We are also creating a Talent Pool to fill vacancies as they arise across the South Western Sydney District.

Salary - $79,032.00 to $86,539.00 pa + Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading per year of service.

Your role

The role is an office administrative support role, with functions that also support caseworkers with administrative tasks that support their client caseload.

What you'll do

As part of the South Western Sydney District Community Service Centre you will

provide crucial high-level support to the Community Service Centre with responsibility for various key administrative functions. Core accountabilities include reception, mailbox and invoice management, minute taking, liaising with various stakeholders, and working across a number of databases and systems.

The role is responsible for supporting the administration and/or casework team to meet team goals with an emphasis on ensuring the effective and efficient payment of invoices to service providers. The role is also responsible for supervising & organising one or more key CSC administrative functions on a day-to-day basis while providing support to the Manager and Casework teams.

As the Administration Officer you will be working in our High Cost Placement and Aftercare team. You will be the primary to undertake mailbox management, review and undertake high cost placement financials and attend panels capturing information around children in high cost placements. You will need to have a keen eye and attention to detail is key in this role. The role has a large financial component and would suit someone with an interest in financial processing.

As the Senior Customer Service Officer you will be working as part of the administrative support team at our Fairfield Community Service Centre. No two days are the same and you will be providing office administration support to the unit, and support across various building and child protection functions i/e fleet, financial processing, office accommodation, petty cash, supporting casework staff with administration requests. The Senior Customer Service Officer will also provide a mentor role to the Customer Service Officers who are part of the administration team, whilst assisting with tasks for the Service Support Manager as delegated.

Both roles are administrative support functions and will suit candidates who excel in well-rounded administration support roles.

What we're looking for someone who has the ability to:

  • Oversee or provide administrative and clerical support to CSC workers in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide adequate coaching, guidance and training to members of the administrative team to enable the development of the skills necessary in the enhanced service environment.
  • Foster and maintain teamwork in the CSC administrative team.
  • Establish and maintain administration systems to assist management with compliance of Finance, WH&S and security policies and procedures.
