Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position, based in the Sydney office:

Senior Cyber Incident Management Consultant

What can you expect?

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Cyber Incident Management (CIM) Specialist to join Marsh's Cyber Incident Management team. Reporting directly to the Head of Marsh Cyber Incident Management, Pacific Region, you will be responsible for helping our clients to anticipate, respond to, manage and recover from cyber threats and Cyber Incidents impacting their businesses.

This position is an integral part of a newly formed initiative serving as a cyber resource for clients and colleagues with respect to all elements of Cyber Incident Management, and you will gain front-seat exposure to the dynamic world of cyber risk, Incident Management and claims within a market-leading organisation.

We are a tight, professional and technical team of insurance professionals working with all insurance products and services for our portfolio of large multinationals. This opportunity is open to candidates with cyber claims or Cyber Incident Management experience. You will become part of Marsh's best in class cyber team which delivers market-leading cyber solutions to help companies manage cyber risk with confidence.

We will count on you to:
  • Learn the incident response vendor ecosystem, including products and services, and support clients (either insured or uninsured) with incident response planning and preparation.
  • Support client incident triage, underwriter incident response facilitation and coordination, guiding clients on vendor selection, carrier panel requirements and obtaining underwriter approvals.
  • Triage new Cyber Incidents and activate appropriate incident response options and capabilities.
  • Proactively ensure the incident response process is moving forward, keeping track of deadlines and open items, keeping the client, vendors and insurers up to date, and payment, and facilitating all communications.
  • Assist clients with various Incident Management tasks during an event.
  • Assist with resolution of any coverage issues by working closely with claims advocacy colleagues and cyber brokers.
  • Develop/enhance proficiency in digital platforms to assist in client/colleague onboarding.
  • Assist in creating content and presentations that are visually pleasing and easy to digest.
  • Develop/enhance cyber subject matter expertise.

We would like you to have:
  • Legal degree preferred.
  • Prior experience with data privacy, Cyber Incident Management or response services.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a high-level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to deliver materials in a high pressure, deadline driven environment.
  • Passion for your profession and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
