Reporting to the Group Reporting and Data Manager, this role will support Crown’s PlaySafe Operations at a property level and 2nd line functions.
The Senior Data Analyst – Crown PlaySafe will assist with the creation, consolidation and maintenance of Crown PlaySafe dashboarding and reporting across both the Operational and Strategic streams. This will also assist in the transformation and consolidation projects, such as the uplift of Crown PlaySafe databases (iTrak) and continuous enhancement of processes (inclusive of Play Period system enhancements) to reduce reliance on resources from other teams.
THE ROLE
- Produce and deliver Reports including data visualization to enhance current operational reporting, dashboarding and analysis across the group. Manage ad hoc requests from Crown PlaySafe Operations, Executive, Board, OSM, Department of Justice etc.
- Conduct and oversee with the streamlining of data capture under the Crown PlaySafe Register (iTrak) consolidation project. Analyse and interpret the requirements associated with implementation and monitoring of the PlaySafe Code of Conduct.
- Oversee and support the delivery of the Player Health Strategy through data capture, analysis and reporting requirements across a range of initiatives.
- Development and maintenance of dashboarding and reporting to support Crown PlaySafe operations.
- Providing analytical support in addressing action plans and for reporting to regulators.
- Proficiency in data analysis to interpret complex data sets, utilise reporting and data visualization tools to help stakeholders understand what the data says quickly and clearly.
- Proven ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from the data collected, allowing meaningful conclusions to be drawn for data-driven recommendations.
- Strong ability to analyse existing tools and databases and apply critical thinking to interpret data for the specific purpose.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at a manager level.
- Intermediate knowledge of Responsible Gambling and operational requirements and Australian regulations is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast moving and complex environment.
- Holder of, or ability to obtain, a special employee and gaming license in Vic, NSW and WA.
