Role: Senior Data Business Partner

Who do we need on the team, and what will you be doing?
As the Senior Data Business Partner you will enable our business to optimise sales and business performance by gathering and analysing data creating business, individual and market insights that feed into the sales and business strategy. This role will support the sales and business function in the areas of sales execution, planning & performance, productivity, and operational processes.
Additionally, the role will be responsible for supporting the financial target/goal setting and assessment of the team.
No two days in a high growth start-up are the same, but these will be your key responsibilities:
Provide / Create baseline reports and insights on sales performance, revenue forecast, customer growth, merchant pricing and merchant cost
Analyze data and provide important visualization and dashboards that clearly communicate complex data in a simple form. (Power BI)
Build robust reporting frameworks that drive transparency and efficiency between sales and operations and finance. (PowerBI)
Assist with upkeep of data cleanliness and data integrity of the sales and customer related datasets.
Support / facilitate the adoption and enhancement of our implemented business platforms [eg. Dynamics 365, Power BI & Artego].
Perform and oversee the annual target-setting and governance processes.
Prepare and validate periodic Billing data which forms the basis of sales incentive compensation.
Assist Sales Management, Business Unit, Initiative & Industry leads to develop and review consistent sales/growth plans for each portfolio and region.
Drive the Signle Source of Truth with respect to Data and Analytics thru the organisation
Partner with our Data Engineering team to ensure all data points, aggregations, views are defined and published as required to support the above

We’re open to different skills and backgrounds who can help us deliver on this role, though it’s important that you’ll have:
Experience with PowerBI, SQL scripting, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory & DAX
Experience implementing DevOps automated deployment processes
Experience cleaning data and automating tasks, as well as testing data models and reports
Expertise in data model design, implementation and support with the ability to effectively engage senior business stakeholders
