The Opportunity:
As the Senior Data Modeller, you’ll play a key part in understanding data and transforming it into business value. You’ll provide technical leadership in driving sound design and development best practices whilst also being responsible for creating and maintaining the physical data models, definitions, and mappings.
The role will define and maintain the structure, quality, accuracy, and accessibility of the company’s data and enable data-driven insights that support decision making. You will also support Project and BAU in understanding the data in the information hub.
Skills and Experience:
You hold a degree in IT, Data Science, Data Management of Software Engineering and have a demonstrated capability in these areas, as well has having your Data Vault 2.0 certification. You have a strong background in data architecture, data modelling, data warehouse design and data lake concepts and practices including data structure, data operation, data management, and governance.
You’ll have hands-on experience in a Microsoft Azure Data Platform environment, and with Sparx EA or similar. You have demonstrated knowledge and experience with Star Schema and metadata management for data modelling. You have working knowledge of Data Vault automation tools and hands-on experience defining data models in collaboration with Business Analysts, Data Architects and stakeholders.
