With a recent renewal at both Executive and Board levels, Carriageworks is poised for a transformative phase in its history, promising significant growth in the years ahead.
As the General Manager of Carriageworks, this new senior leadership role collaborates closely with CEO Fergus Linehan and the Board to shape and implement the organisation’s new strategic direction.
The organisation seeks a remarkable leader to oversee day-to-day organisational operations, implement efficient systems and processes, foster a vibrant and collaborative work environment, and ensure robust financial planning and execution.
Deputising for the CEO as required, the General Manager plays a vital role in ensuring operational teams are cohesive, effective, efficient, and focused on delivering Carriageworks’ overall vision and strategic priorities.
The General Manager will drive exceptional internal communications across and between the Executive Team and throughout Carriageworks to ensure an informed and effective organisational culture.
The senior national role requires proven experience at an executive leadership level within the arts or entertainment sector, venue/building or not for profit company of a similar turnover.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of leading organisational-wide strategic transformation projects, budgeting, finance and business growth.
