Are you a skilled Data Modeller with a deep understanding of data warehouse methodologies within the Insurance industry? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise can drive impactful solutions? If so a leading Insurance business in Australia require a Senior Data Modeller to be based in their Sydney office.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain solid 3NF data models for the silver/integrated layer within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
• Create and implement robust star schema models for the gold layer within the P&C insurance domain.
• Ensure data models adhere to industry best practices and standards, facilitating efficient data integration, querying, and reporting.
• Participate in data mapping, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data transformation activities as required.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in 3NF data modeling specifically within the context of P&C insurance.
• Proficiency in star schema modeling, focusing on the gold layer of P&C insurance data.
• Strong understanding of both Inmon and Kimball methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience working with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and data transformation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
