In the role of Senior Data Scientist you will contribute to the evidence-based decision making that helps us drive the delivery of customer focussed public transport services and projects. You will apply your skills in working with complex, substantial data sets to support the development and management of TransLink's cloud-based data management and business intelligence tools and products, working as a technical expert and collaborator in a team of data experts.

Accountabilities include:
- Technical advice and contribution to the development and application of public transport data analysis products and solutions which best support Translink stakeholders in making evidence-based decisions.
- Analyse and communicate public transport trends and insights using a variety of tools and software, outlining methods, findings, sensitivities, and limitations of data and models to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in the investigation, design and implementation of cloud data warehousing and business intelligence solutions to ensure delivery of fit-for-for-purpose and contemporary public transport analysis products.
- Contribute to documentation of the Translink Data Analytics team's data analysis platform including data dictionaries, data catalogues, training materials and user guides for keydata analysis products.
- Build and nurture internal and external stakeholder relationships (including key data users, other technical experts in TMR, and third parties providing data management services and expertise).
- Actively participate in performance conversations and mentoring activities to build and support a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
