About the role:

This is a newly created role in RWC reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager ANZ. We are looking for a dynamic professional to manage and lead the demand planning and sales forecasting of our products to ensure demand and supply are balanced.

Based in Eagle Farm in Brisbane, you will be responsible for leading and managing all demand planning and forecasting activities for Australia and New Zealand supporting our S&OP process and business plans to improve customer service, order fulfilment, supply and inventory objectives  At RWC we operate as one global team, so you will be part of a broader group of supply chain professionals located in the UK and USA.

What you will need to do:

• Generation of the monthly sales forecast as part of the S&OP process.
• Manage our statistical forecasting tool.
• Document and challenge forecast assumptions based on the analysis of customer supplied forecasts, market data, industry statistics and market dynamics.
• Work closely with the sales team and our customers to improve the accuracy of customer supplied sales forecasts.
• Develop a working relationship with the business managers to ensure sales forecasts are completed on time with high quality.
• Ensure data integrity of sales volume is reporting correctly.
• Maintenance of key areas in the material and customer masters.

About you:

• 5+ years’ experience working in multi-site planning and scheduling role.
• 5+ years’ experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Degree in engineering, marketing, business management, commerce, or a related discipline.
• APICS CPIM Certification. 
• High level of ERP knowledge in production planning and scheduling functionality, preferably in SAP.
• High level of knowledge of S&OP and MRPII concepts.
• High level of knowledge in statistical forecasting tools.
• Proven ability to lead and influence a cross functional team.
• High level of computer literacy, especially Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
