Senior Design Manager

This role is within our Major Projects group, that is responsible for delivering a range of transformational projects in the Terminal buildings precinct, including substantially increasing the car parking capacity.

About the role

This role is within our Major Projects group, that is responsible for delivering a range of transformational projects in the Terminal buildings precinct. The Senior Design Manager is responsible for the overall coordination of the designs and the technical compliance of construction works across the programme of works to ensure the timely, efficient and effective delivery of the planned parking projects at the Domestic Terminal Building (DTB) and at the International Terminal Building (ITB).

About you

You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in doing great work. Tertiary qualified, you will have significant experience in managing the delivery of infrastructure projects, with a focus on design coordination, which includes oversight of the relationships and outcomes with consultants and construction contractors.  This will include experience in leading a multi consultant design team within a design practice/contractor’s team.
