Are you an accomplished Senior Dietitian?
This newly created Grade 4 position is a rare an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career and shape Nutrition and Dietetic practice and care at Monash Health. We are looking forward to welcoming a Grade 4 Dietitian in a full time (1.0 EFT) ongoing basis to provide clinical expertise and senior leadership across Monash Medical Centre, Moorabbin Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital. As an integral member Nutrition and Dietetics in our extensive network, you will:
- Deliver expert, evidence-based, patient-centred nutrition intervention that meaningfully progresses patient care
- Apply extensive specialised knowledge advice, clinical reasoning and provide guidance to other clinicians to support safe and effective care
- Contribute your expertise, progressive and innovative thinking to develop, implement and evaluate novel models of care
- Inspire and support research opportunities within Dietetics and contribute to the evidence
- Lead the translation of evidence into practice, including identifying clinical practice gaps, implementing and evaluating evidence-based care
- Drive quality and service improvements
- Lead and empower Dietitians to deliver excellence timely care
- Foster our positive workforce culture of open communication, collaboration and growth
- Extensive (normally 10 years) demonstrable experience in clinical dietetics
- An approved undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a Dietetics Australia (DA) accredited course or an approved Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent qualification) followed by a postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a DA accredited course or The DSR dietetics examination for overseas trained dietitians, administered by DA.
- Eligible for membership of DA and Accredited practicing Dietitian (APD) status
- Holds or progressing towards a relevant post graduate study
- You have proven leadership experience that fosters a culture teamwork and continuous learning and development
