About The Role

We are pleased to announce a new vacancy at Monash Health for a Senior Dietitian. This Grade 4 role is a rare an exciting opportunity develop your Senior Leadership skills. It is a part time (0.6 EFT), fixed term position until October 2024, covering a long service leave backfill. Utilise your clinical expertise and leadership across Monash Health’s Renal Steam as well as Monash Medical Centre, Moorabbin Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital. This role will offer you autonomy to flourish in a well-respected, senior position.

As an integral member of our Senior Dietitian in our extensive network, you will have the opportunity to shape the dietary care for our vast patient population. You will be impactful and influence the wider the department by bringing your excellent clinical knowledge as well as your mentoring and education skills to support and grow junior staff. What you need:

  • You’ll have extensive demonstrable experience in providing clinical care to acute inpatients
  • Eligibility for full membership as a Dietitian of Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practising APD membership
  • You have proven leadership experience that fosters a culture teamwork and continuous learning and development.
  • Expertise in renal specialty (preferred)
  • Demonstrated research and publications (preferred)
  • Hold or progressing towards a relevant post graduate study (preferred)
