About the Role
We are now accepting applications for a Senior Digital Content Specialist (Parental Leave Cover) within our Marketing and Communications team. This is a fixed-term, full-time (75 hours per fortnight) position working from both our Eight Mile Plains office and remotely until May 2025.
The purpose of this role is to lead digital marketing and community education, provide editorial oversight for a team of content creators, and support the Head of Marketing & Communications to deliver internal and external communications strategies that help educate and promote RAQ. You’ll champion the team to ensure our strong brand and reputation are maintained and be responsible for leveraging data-driven audience insights to generate optimised, high-quality, Digital Content that resonates with target audiences, enhances brand recognition, expands our service reach, and positions RAQ as a provider of choice for clients and funders alike. In this role, you will:
- Analyse multiple data sets including Google Analytics, keyword analysis, social media insights, and client data, ensuring all content is optimised for search engines, integrates keywords, and uses meta data.
- Plan and execute optimised, strategic digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels including web, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, while monitoring insights activity, ensuring we are meeting community need and delivering on RAQ’s strategic objectives.
- Lead content ideation across a range of programs/topics.
- Provide editorial oversight, coaching, mentorship, and development for a small team of content creators, to ensure all content serves RAQ’s objectives.
- Be a role model for effective and positive leadership which is ethical, results-driven, future-oriented and focused on behaviours to deliver high standards of service to stakeholders.
The salary being offered is $101,202.61 to $114,017.97 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Hold an Undergraduate degree in Creative Writing, Communications, Marketing or aligned discipline.
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Digital Content Specialist role.
- Exhibit an awareness and appreciation of diverse communities and social issues, matched with ability to communicate with sensitivity across a range of complex subject matters.
- Demonstrate proficiency using digital analytics tools and have superior written and spoken English.
