As a Senior Digital Mission Systems Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical advisor, instructor, and contributor, actively shaping the development of digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies. Your role extends to overseeing the delivery of internal training programs and providing dedicated client services to our Defence clients.
The Senior Digital Mission Engineering Specialist is a pivotal figure in bolstering Defence engagements, steering business development initiatives, and playing a key role in advancing our training initiatives.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Provide senior-level technical advisory support to DPS service development, offering insights and guidance on DE, MBSE and/or M&S principles and best practices.
- Support, and in some instances lead, the development of DE/MBSE/M&S methodologies, standard operating procedures, and authoritative reference materials to guide the delivery of services.
- Act as a senior instructor for DPS training, facilitating the development of DE/MBSE/M&S professionals.
- Provide technical advisory services to DPS engagements, contributing insights and expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support in the development of new service offerings, development of collateral and the development of proposal and responses, particularly relating to technical and/or workforce considerations.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
- Relevant Degree qualifications with a master’s degree highly desirable, in a relevant technical discipline (engineering, physics, mathematics, data science etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Digital Engineering, MBSE and/or Mission Engineering methodologies, with demonstrated application of technical skills in Defence.
- Experience planning, designing and/or implementing Data/Systems engineering solutions ensuring solutions balance functional and non-functional requirements.
- Demonstrated application of knowledge in systems architecture, systems design, development, and system integration.
- Experience analysing requirements and system designs using modern Systems Engineering tools and/or methodologies.
- Experience evaluating and comparing alternative system of systems architectures using qualitative and quantitative trade space analysis techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal form.
- You must hold a current NV1 security clearance or higher.
