About the Role
We’re looking for a flexible, dedicated and experienced Document Controller to join us on this growing project enabling renewables. With your keen eye for detail and passion for quality, joining us means being a part of the energy transition. Contributing to the fast-paced project you will be a lynchpin in ensuring deadlines are met by receiving and issuing documentation in-line with WRL’s Document Control processes and procedures.
You will be part of the Western Renewables Link (WRL) Project Management Office, supporting all streams throughout the project lifecycle. WRL is critical transmission infrastructure required to unlock the renewables energy potential of western Victoria as a key Renewable Energy Zone and will help to deliver clean and affordable energy to all Victorians.
This role will report to the Document Control Lead and is located at Southbank, Victoria
We are a flexible and truly hybrid workplace.
What you will deliver
- Maintain Aconex (document management system) and SharePoint (document repository) on a daily basis including monitoring and actioning requests received in the Document Control work queues by receiving, recording anddistributing project records and deliverables,.
- Work across multiple sub-projects within WRL including embedded Sydenham Terminal Station Rebuild project.
- Monitor and action requests received in the WRL Document Control work queues to defined Client and Project Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain project document registers for project compliance
- Governance of, and support to the project team with, the storage of project records and documentation, using the corporate and Project electronic document management systems.
- Document Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) checking to ensure the format is to project standards.
- Assist in the review and development of Document Control Work Instructions and Procedures.
- Instruct and train the project team, ensuringf Document Control Work Instructions and Procedures are followed.
What we like about you
- Demonstrated understanding of document lifecycles and document management systems including Aconex and SharePoint.
- Understanding of Information, Records and Document Control principles within a project environment
- Ability to work with confidential information and records whilst maintaining discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and demonstrated effectiveness handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, managing timeframes and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written), including internal and external stakeholders
- 3-5 years experience as a Document Controller
