Delivering NSW's largest wind farms that are changing the landscape of our nation, these grand designs need a team of big thinkers and game-changers and are now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to help them change the landscape and the power generation industry for the better.

YOUR NEW JOB

Knowledge of high voltage power projects, interpreting engineering drawings, and the construction of electrical infrastructure projects will see you support multiple projects from conception to completion without missing detail of technical accuracy.

Your responsibilities will include; review, preparation, and delivery of engineering designs/documentation for allocated renewable energy projects with a particular focus on:

• System analysis and studies
• Substation primary, protection and control systems
• Secondary schematics and panel design
• LVAC and LVDC systems
• Protection setting calculations including specification of protection related parameters of HV equipment
• Management of protection and secondary system subcontractors
• Protection and control interface to SCADA and generator control systems
• Ensuring all designs/documentation meets the relevant standards AS/IEC
• Provide engineering support to project electrical works

ABOUT YOU…

• 4-year Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10 years experience in electrical engineering/project delivery
• Experience in design of High Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure projects (e.g. utility scale HV substation projects at 66kV or higher voltage)
• Experience in protection systems design
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong ability to manage time and achieve tight deadlines
