From major renewable energy projects to high voltage direct current inter country interconnectors and offshore grids, we're integrating a multitude of these solution elements to build a cleaner and more resilient energy future.

Here's What You'll Need:

Jacobs offer a full range of power generation and transmission services from pre-feasibility, through to detailed design, tendering, construction and site supervision. We appreciate each client's requirements are different, and each service may require specific tailoring. Jacobs Transmission and Distribution (T&D) team is looking for a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to manage and deliver consultancy engineering services in the fields of High Voltage T&D and infrastructure power solutions. We're looking to contribute to our well established, growing Perth team. This exciting opportunity will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support engineers and project teams locally and in our Global Delivery Centres to enable the delivery of detailed design packages.
  • Support technical reviews of deliverables, attend and participate in project and client meetings.
  • Take an active role in developing client relationships to safeguard the delivery of projects in sectors such as mining, industrial/processing, water/wastewater, rail and infrastructure.
  • Actively support proposal development, client strategy / interviews and presentations.
  • Mentor and develop fellow team members to grow the Jacobs offering in Power Engineering.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Relevant Electrical Engineering tertiary qualification and experience in Electrical Engineering with a positive attitude.
  • Experience in a variety of Energy & Power Utilities, Rail, Water, Defence, Industrial and Renewable Power sectors is highly regarded.
  • Exposure to a specialised engineering team delivering engineering solutions in traction power, EV transport, HV connections and reticulation, earthing and bonding, EMC, substations, and electrical protection.
