Our Client is a Sunshine Coast (Buderim) based Transport Authority who are looking to engage a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Statewide Network Operations Branch who focus on maintenance delivery and commissioning of projects.
Your new role
In this position you will be required to manage electrical design and operate traffic management systems, Intelligent Transport Systems, CCTV Cameras, Park and Ride, Busways and roadway lighting within the state. You will review the delivery of drawings, specifications and estimates to ensure they meet Main Roads Spec requirements and provide professional advice to designers, contractors and project managers and offer support for any technical issues.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this role, you must have previous experience with QLD Main roads design and specifications. You will have a Degree in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Diploma and have prior experience working in a similar capacity. You will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring delivery exceeds expectations.
