Tri Tech Qld is a Brisbane based consulting and contracting company, specialising in the design, installation and service of industrial/commercial refrigeration projects. The Contract/Project arm of the business is backed by a 24/7 service department.

Our new, repeat and referral clients come from the cold storage and consumer food distribution sector, dairy and meat industry, breweries and soft drinks producers, domestic food growers and multinational food producers, chemical processing and mining.  

Due to business growth, an excellent opportunity exists for an experienced/senior mechanical engineer to join this ever growing business that consistently offers innovative and customer focused solutions.

About the role: 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Industrial Refrigeration Projects/Contract team. You'll manage respective projects for new and existing clients across the Industrial Refrigeration sector. We have a special focus on delivery and client satisfaction, whilst ensuring our design and construction meets strict standards.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will liaise directly with our clients and support teams to steer the desired outcomes for the project. In this role you will call on all your organisational skills, coupled with your sound technical knowledge of refrigeration processes for different industries. 

The role tasks include:

• Execute assigned refrigeration projects (prepare, plan, organise, initiate, execute)  
• Produce engineering designs and AutoCAD drawings
• Manage the Project's delivery, on time and on budget  
• Review and update Project financials
• Deliver updates to senior management and stakeholders 
• Ensure compliance and safety standards are met and all work meets Australian Standards 

What we are looking for:

• Relevant engineering degree
• Superior technical knowledge of Industrial refrigeration principles and equipment
• Knowledge of control system fundamentals 
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Advance Steel and Revit packages
• Project management experience
• An ability to deliver engineering solutions for refrigeration clients 
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong understanding of design requirements, plant performance for ammonia, carbon dioxide and synthetic refrigeration
• A fundamental focus on safety
