About the team:

As part of the broader Technology team, Finance and Procurement are responsible for the development and support of applications across multiple enterprise platforms including Finance, Procurement, Property, Treasury and in parts People & Culture.

Finance and Procurement is an integral part of some key initiatives including SAP implementations, increasing cloud capability and digitising multiple manually intensive processes. 

About the role: 

The successful candidate   will play an important role as a technology leader across multiple platform and act as an enabler to balance technology, delivery, and outcomes in alignment with the wider group’s objectives.

You will have the opportunity to work across the latest and greatest advancements in SAP, across Finance and Procurement and other business units.   

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Act as a Technology SME in SAP technical team 
• Delivering outcomes across a large variety of projects  
• Providing thought leadership ensuring initiatives are prioritised and correct technology investments used and made
• Innovate for best practice and improve team processes, mentoring junior team members 
• Provide input to continuous improvement activities, roadmap development that support uplift of tools and capability, as well as address technical debt 
• Support & drive technical initiatives across SAP landscapes 

About you and your skills: 

• Extensive SAP Basis/Netweaver Administration experience working in large complex IT environments supporting SAP platform including SAP S/4, ECC,  BW4Hana,  Fiori, Portal,  OpenText and Solman 7.2.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (SCP), SAP RISE implementation and cloud integration of SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, or FieldGlass, is preferable
• Experience working in complex system architectures, operations, and support structures 
• Experience delivering outcomes as part of a cross-functional group, using onshore/offshore delivery model and with 3rd party vendors and integrators 
• Ability to support detailed planning, documentation, and quality assurance processes, especially change control, which will support the timely implementation of enhancements without impacting service SLAs.
• Continuous integration and automated deployment systems
• A logical approach to problem solving and the ability to constructively propose and review solutions 
• Demonstrated leader with influencing skills, decision making, negotiating and conflict resolution skills 
• Effective relationship building skills
