Senior Systems engineer, you'll be integral to enhancing operations and shaping strategic direction.
Job DescriptionReporting to the Tech Services Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Support BUA, Ensure day-to-day operation, administration, and support of the group IT platform.
- Within an ITIL framework, ensure that IT changes are controlled and do not adversely affect the business.
- Be a key point of escalation to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure communication with key stakeholders is current and effective.
- Support and engage with a diverse customer base from both office and site-based locations.
- Collaborate, and work effectively with other teams in the wider IT group.
The Successful ApplicantTo be considered for and successful in this role you will:
- Currently be living in Perth, WA
- Have experience in a similar role supporting and administering medium to large-scale IT environments.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and PowerShell
- Experience working with:
- Windows Server,
- Active Directory
- Virtualisation (VMWare)
- Office 365
- Strong knowledge of data centre servers and storage
- Backup software (preferably Commvault)
Other desirable but not essential experience includes:
- Citrix
- Microsoft SQL 2012+
- Cisco Networking
- Experience managing IP telephony systems (Cisco Call Manager)
