ABOUT OUR TEAM
The Governance and Portfolio Services Division is responsible for delivering high-quality services and advice that supports and empowers the transport portfolio to make good decisions, and to provide confidence that risk management, behaviour, performance, and service delivery is continuously improving.
ABOUT WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This role is responsible for leading a small team to provide risk advice to Departmental business areas, senior executives and Transport Portfolio entities.
You will provide effective leadership and support to the team while ensuring that reports are provided to the Audit Risk and Integrity Committee and to the leadership team.

ABOUT WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
To be successful in the role the ideal candidate will possess accomplished skills in Systems Thinking, which includes diagnosing trends, coaching others, obstacles, and opportunities.
You will also have proficiency in Critical Thinking and Problem Solving and ideally you have applied knowledge of Political and Organizational Context.
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory
Experience of implementing risk management frameworks based on ISO 31000
Experience in leading teams
Desirable
Relevant tertiary qualification in risk management, audit or a related discipline
