As part of our growth, we are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant – Audit and Compliance to join the Environmental team. This is a permanent, full-time role and is suitable for a professional with Environmental experience.
The position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Review and Development of Environmental Management Systems;
- Audit and Compliance assessments (ISO certification);
- OHS/Hazmat assessments; and
- Business Development.
About you:
- Appropriate training, qualifications, and current certification as a Lead Auditor;
- Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, AS/NZS 4801, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 management systems development and maintenance including integrated management systems;
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with project approvals, Environmental Impact Assessment, auditing, and the development of management plans;
- Credibility, a strong reputation and track record with clients preferably on mining, energy, infrastructure, waste, renewables, or industrial projects will be considered;
- Experience in working within a consultancy will be considered favourably;
- Strong technical capacity;
- Strong understanding of the legal framework in NSW associated with environmental approvals and impact assessment;
- Understanding of national/international environmental legislation will be considered favourably;
- Strong relationships with key Government stakeholders;
- Experience in coordinating/completing complex technical assessments, records and written reports;
- Ability to manage and maintain key client relationships;
- Credibility, a strong reputation and track record with Clients on a range of projects;
- Excellent oral and written skills;
- Onsite experience will be a bonus;
