YOUR ROLE As the Senior Environmental Health Officer, you will pro-actively lead and mentor the small Environmental Health team, to protect, promote and improve public health.
This work includes inspecting, educating, running projects, assessing, planning, and monitoring:
- Food safety
- Private Water Supplies
- Mosquitoes – NSW Arbovirus Program
- Skin Penetration
- Public swimming and spa pools
- Wastewater (OSSMS)
- Infectious diseases
- Complaints
- Health promotion activities
- Pests, vermin, and animals
- Developments and DA Referrals
- Contaminated land & UPSS
- Caravan Parks
- Air quality
- Funeral industry YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)
- A 35-hour working week, over a 9-day fortnight
- A lease back vehicle available for private use, contribution made fortnightly post tax
