You will contribute to the effective delivery of estimating services through your professional preparation, competitive pricing and on-time delivery.You will be responsible for:
- Preparing the request for authority to proceed with the tender and gaining the appropriate authorisation
- Ensuring that each tender is based on appropriate construction methods, is technically and numerically correct and adequate provision is made for both direct and indirect resources
- Ensuring that risk analyses are undertaken in accordance with tendering procedures and Business Plan
- Monitoring and reporting on the cost planning of design development
- Maintaining accurate document control throughout the tender process
- Ensuring that prior to the tender being submitted all documentation is completed accurately and appropriately authorised
- Experience in a Senior Estimator role, on large Civil Infrastructure Projects
- Demonstrated commercial experience, including planning of estimate deliverables, reporting on progress against plan and managing implementation of risk treatment plans.
