What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Senior Estimator, predominantly to service our 10 year engagement with South East Water, however, there will also be opportunity to be involved with other Water Infrastructure Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Use of first principles to develop accurate estimates for Utility based projects (predominantly Water and Waste Water Treatment and distribution)
Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
Build relationships with key stakeholders (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.)
Participate in tender review processes with senior management
Lead estimates - set up templates, develop procurement schedules and present first principles methodology at reviews
Mentoring other Estimators and coordinating overall workload across the estimating team
Understanding, following and reinforcing the use of our established estimating processes to ensure internal governance is achieved.
How you'll connect to the role:
Proven experience, and track record as a Senior Estimator in a tier 1 environment
Experience pricing multi-disciplined Water / Waste Water projects - treatment and networks based
Familiarity with financial and project management principles
Good communication and presentation skills
Experience in using Expert Estimator will be highly regarded
