Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Senior Registration Officer to join their team.
This role will manage and coordinate responses and investigations into reports of wrongdoing and public interest disclosures across the Department. Provide advice and support the Department in the development and implementation of ethical and Integrity frameworks, fraud and corruption prevention and promoting an ethical culture across the Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake complex investigations into alleged breaches of departmental policies, allegations of corruption, maladministration and series and substantial waste of public money, allegations under the Public Interest Disclosures Act and/or related governance issues.
- Review and assess reports of wrongdoing, conduct assessments against the Public Interest Disclosures Act and make recommendations.
- Proactively communicate with managers, reporters, and relevant employees to clearly articulate processes and responsibilities relating to each report of wrongdoing being assessed.
- Provide expert advice on diverse ethical and Integrity issues including the application of relevant policies, procedures and frameworks, statutory requirements, conflicts of interest, ethical conduct, and governance best practice
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations preferably relating to fraud and corruption in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience in the development and implementation of governance and/or ethical policies, strategies, and standards and providing advice on ethical issues.
